Not Standard Shots

I am so in a rut right now. I'm finding it difficult to pull out my camera and enjoy my own pictures. Today I brought it in my backyard as the Wee Man was playing and started to look for something to excite me. Here are 2 of my shots. Just different than my standard smiling children photos.

    WOW. I love those. How'd you get those vibrant colors on the dragon fly. How'd you do the black on the flower. I love it. Curious what lens and settings you used. Wonderful.

    I love these Catherine. Really tremendous. That dragonfly is HOT! : ) Kaishon saw it and said, are you at National Geographic Mom? I think that is such a nice compliment. I told him you are super star blogger and then showed him your swimmers. He said they look fun : )
