I ♥ Faces - Amateur Week/Spring

This week at I {Heart} Faces, the theme is Easter/Spring and the one I'm entering is for Amateur Photographers. I suppose that's me. I don't make money yet, I just seem to spend it to get the "best" lens or the latest book at the book store. So far, my hobby is very expensive and has not been paying for itself.

This picture is one that I took of my daughter riding her tricycle in our driveway. Spring is such a good time to get outside again and dust off the outdoor toys! I love the motion and the flow of the picture. The look on her face is natural and happy. I just loved the lighting and the colors in it. Let me know what you think! I learned so much on Friday during the Constructive Feedback session. Any tips from the pros would be sincerely appreciated.

If you want to enter this week, head on over to I "Heart" Faces and check it out!

  23. Sherine.... Thank you so much for the comment! I shoot with a Canon (either a 5D Mark II or a 40D) and my favorite lens? Well, this week it's a toss up between my 24-105mm f/4 or my 135mm f/2. I'm a lens addict.

  37. Hi Marcie ~ I have played with this photo so much I have no idea what I used. I did find a free action the other day that does that effect... it's here http://www.thealbumcafe.com/Actions.html

It's the 2nd free action. I use it sparingly and mask the eyes and other places I like sharp.

    Thanks for the compliment.
