Exciting Day

Today was a big day for my 3 year old! We went to the Missouri Winter Games Gymnastics Exhibition and saw Jonathan Horton (silver and bronze winner in Beijing) and Nastia Liukin (gold winner) perform. Afterwards we were lucky enough to get autographs and pictures. I went with my friend Sarah from college and her little girl - who is a gymnast. It was a wonderful day to meet some fantastic athletes and enjoy my little girl and the company of my friend.

    How cool was that, what sweet pics of your little girl with the stars and what good role models. We're lucky to have Shawn Johnson as our local hero.

    How much fun was that? So cool. She is a doll for sure! I bet she is the cutest little gymnast on her team! I can't wait to have a girl so we can do gymnastics and all of that other girly stuff : ). Does she do ballet too?

    I was watching the gymnasts compete the night I went into labor with my daughter. Nastia Lukin will always hold a special place in my heart for that reason!
